Dusk Duel — an original browser fighting game
Both browsers run the same deterministic 60 Hz simulation and draw it locally, so there is no video stream at all. A small Node.js room server only pairs the players and relays packets when a direct connection fails. A second instance serves the same game inside TabSpawn.

Highlights
- Rollback netcode: two frames of input delay, prediction from the last received input, up to 180 frames of rollback and redundant input packets over an unordered WebRTC channel, with an encrypted WebSocket relay as fallback.
- A combat system with three fighters, chained combos, timed counters, sweeps, throws and an energy-driven special, covered by deterministic tests that include delayed and reordered inputs.
- Keyboard, touch and standard gamepad controls with per-browser key remapping, and sound effects synthesised in the browser with no downloaded audio.
- Single-use 15-minute invitations, secure cookies, exact origin checks and rate limits, with the service confined to 192 MB of memory and 40% of one CPU.
