Jugnu II — a 3D firefly game, ten years after the first
The original Jugnu was a Unity side-scroller built as a final-year project. Jugnu II rebuilds the idea in Three.js and TypeScript with procedural assets only: forest, marsh, cave, ruins and storm zones, authored hazard patterns, hold-to-dash, spark companions and a combo multiplier, with bloom and adaptive resolution so it runs on modest machines.

Highlights
- Everything procedural: no downloaded models or textures; a custom darkness post-effect makes light the core resource.
- Leaderboard API in stdlib Python and SQLite: random firefly names, unique renames, best score per player, plausibility caps and per-IP limits; one Top 10 shared with the TabSpawn mirror.
- Promo, per-zone and how-to-play videos recorded by an autopilot under a faked game clock and narrated by Gemini TTS; the how-to page plays the result.
- Packaged as a signed Android app with Capacitor, built with a laptop toolchain that needed no administrator rights.
