RetroDeck Live PS2 — PCSX2 rooms with a personal library

PCSX2 has no software-only libretro path, so instead of a ctypes worker the room runs the official AppImage under Xvfb, PulseAudio and XTEST inside the same hardened Docker model: frames are read from the framebuffer by memory map, audio is recorded from a null sink, and inputs are injected as key events.

Highlights

  1. Per-email library with scrypt passphrases, catalogue tables in SQLite and a read-only bind mount into the room, with limits on item count, size and age.
  2. Formats validated before use: ISO, CHD, CSO, ZSO, BIN and ZIP sets; BIOS files checked by their ROMDIR table.
  3. 121 unit tests run by the installer; the worker image is rebuilt only when its recipe changes.
  4. Verified end to end: uploads, a worker container, PCSX2 booting to a 640×480 game window and frames captured at 60 Hz.
